CUSTOMS REGULATIONS

• HOLDERS OF RESIDENCE CARDS MAY BRING IN USED HOUSEHOLD GOODS AND PERSONAL EFFECTS DUTY-FREE IF IN CUSTOMER'S POSSESSION FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS PRIOR TO MOVE

DUTIABLE/RESTRICTED ITEMS

• Alcoholic beverages
• New furniture

PROHIBITED ITEMS

• Firearms
• Drugs
• Ammunition
• Articles derived from endangered species such as ivory

MOTOR VEHICLES

• Permitted duty-free if the car has been in owner's possession and used for at least six months and owner is transferring residence to Luxembourg
• Documents required (in addition to above):
  • Original Title
  • Insurance Certificate covering the previous six months
  • Certificate of Residence

PETS

• Dogs and cats permitted with recent Health Certificate
• Medical examination may be required on arrival
